We are sorry to inform that our Dear Friend and Colleague, Professor Sylvie Opatrná passed away on February 4, 2020 at the age of 60.
Funeral is 08 Febbraio at 3 p.m. in Pilzen, the Czech Republik. She was a member of the IAHN Board (Councillor).
We will miss her being around.

We are sorry to inform that our Dear Friend and Colleague, Professor Charles George passed away in London on October 5. 2019.
Charles was a long–standing member and the President of the International Association for the History of Nephrology in the years 2003-2005. His input in the development of the IAHN was immense.
We will miss his being around.

With deep sorrow, we inform you that our Colleague and Friend, Professor Miroslav Mydlik died on September 6th, 2018 at the age of 86.
Professor Miroslav Mydlik was a renowned Slovak nephrologist of international reputation. A Professor at Kosice University he was one of the pioneers of the Czechoslovak and Slovak nephrology.
He actively cooperated with numerous international scientific associations including the International Association for the History of Nephrology.
He received a number of titles of an Honorary Member of these associations.
He will always remain in our memory as a Friend, scientists and master.
